Quick Start Guide to QA Trak

Welcome to the world of hassle-free testing with QA Trak! Follow this simple guide to get started quickly:

Step 1: Download and Install

After downloading QA Trak, locate the “QATrak” icon on your desktop and double-click it. This will open the login page.

Step 2: Sign Up

Click the Sign-Up link on the login page and fill in the required details. Before submitting your information, please review and agree to the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

Step 3: Verify Your Email

Check your email inbox for a verification code. Enter this code and your password on the QA Trak site, then click Submit.

Step 4: Choose Your Subscription

Browse through the available subscription options. For this guide, select the QA Trak Community Edition. Agree to the terms and confirm your selection.

Step 5: Set Up Your Test Product

It’s time to create your first test project:

1. Click the Add icon in the lower menu bar.
2. Name your project.
3. Set timer settings.
4. Click Save.

Step 6: Adding Test Cases

To add test cases:

1. Click on your product banner.
2. Click the “Record” button in the lower menu bar.
3. Name your test case.
4. Enter the URL you want to test.

Step 7: Record Your Actions

QA Trak will record each action you perform on the site (e.g., clicking ‘About Us’ or ‘Contact Us’). These steps will appear in the Action Details box on the right.

Step 8: Save and Run Your Test

• After recording, click Save.
• To run the test, click the Green Run Icon.
• To edit, click the Blue Pencil Icon.

Step 9: Debug and Edit Steps

• Debug your test by clicking Edit and then Debug.
• Add breakpoints by clicking the Green Dots beside each step to pause and inspect actions.
• Edit steps using the Blue Pencil Icon.
• Rearrange steps by dragging them into the desired order.

Step 10: Save Your Edits

Once you’ve made changes, click Save to finalize your edits.
